Raceway Specifications - Raceway Categories

Displays when you select the Raceway Specifications > Raceway Categories tab from the Options dialog. This lets you arrange the order which the Raceway Categories are displayed in the following dialogs:

You can also define specific filters which can help specify criteria to use when routing cable inside raceways.

Categories The categories section lists all of the available categories which can be defined in the Raceway Router when placing new raceway components. The Voltage Level, Cable Laying Method and Max Capacity categories cannot be moved. The order of the remaining categories can be modified here using the following options:
  • Up: Moves the selected category up in the list order. This button is inactive if the first category is selected.
  • Down: Moves the selected category down in the list order. This button is inactive if the last category is selected.
Important: Since the first three categories cannot be changed if you select one of those items and try to move it you are prompted with a message stating it cannot be moved. Likewise if you select the category directly below the Max Capacity item and try to move it up, you are prompted with a message stating the item cannot be moved to the top three items.

Filters In the Filters section you can create filters with certain criteria which when the criteria of the filter is met, will determine which type of raceway to place the cable in. To specify a name for the filter, click in the Value field and type in the filter name.
  • Add: Adds a new filter which you can define the criteria for.
  • Delete: Deletes the selected filter.
